Creating and Saving new Folders
Click on the Create a Folder link under the appropriate tab
(Searches, Watches, Bids, or Wins). For example, if you wish to create a folder
to store bids, click on the Bids tab.
Give your folder a Name . (Limit is 30 characters)
Give your folder a Description. (Limit is 300 characters)
To associate a particular search with the Folder, select one from the Associated
Search drop down list. The drop down list contains all of the
searches that you have saved. The default is No Associated Search.
Select a display Color from the color radio
button group. If you want more color choices, click the select from
list radio button, and select a color from the list below.
If you leave the Copy this folder for use in each tab check box
checked, a folder with the given name will be created in all the tabs,
(Searches, Watches, Bids, and Wins). For example, if you created a folder named
“collectables” from the Searches tab with the Copy this
folder for use in each tab option selected, a “collectables”
folder will be created in all four tabs. (Searches, Watches, Bids, and Wins)
Now, any search items from the “collectables” folder in Searches,
which are converted into watches, will go in the “collectables” folder for Watches.
Or, if a bid in the “collectables” folder for Bids is won, a
win will be added to the “collectables” folder for Wins .
To only create a folder for the tab you currently have selected, uncheck the
Copy this folder for use in each tab check box.
Click on the Add Folder button, to save your folder.
You can also Add a Folder from the Folders link in the menu
bar at the top of Searches, Watches, Bids, or Wins page.

-
Click on the My Folders
link in the body of Searches, Watches, Bids or Wins main tabs.
-
Click on the Folders link in the menu bar below the tab name.

Deleting a Folder
When viewing the list of folders, click on the Delete link
associated with a specific folder to delete it.
Warning: When you delete a folder that contains bids,
watches or wins, all of the folder's contents are moved into the general My
Bids, My Watches or My Wins folder. You can delete the items from the folder
first or delete them from the general folder later.
| Note:
|
Deleting bids that have been placed does not cancel the bid on eBay. All bids
that are deleted remain in the Deleted items view of that folder. |
