Updating your custom feedback messages

To get to the Feedback page click on the Edit Feedback link on the Wins Tab. On the Feedback page you can create, store, and edit custom feedback messages. Your feedback messages are divided into three categories positive, neutral, and negative. The category under which a message is stored is also the feedback rating that will be left on eBay if that message is used. For example, if you save the message “Great eBayer A+++” in the positive feedback category, when this message is left with an eBay user it will be left as positive feedback. The category under which a message is saved decides the feedback rating (positive, neutral, or negative) left when that message is used. For more info about feedback click here.

To Create a new Feedback Message
Type your new message into the edit box in the Add New Feedback Message field on the bottom of the Feedback page.
Select the category using the combo box to the right of the Add New Feedback Message field.

To Edit a message that already exists

Click on the edit link to the right of the message. An edit box will appear containing the message text.

Archiving Wins

Buying Manager provides a special wins folder for archiving your old wins.  The “Archived” folder is similar to other wins folders except that its wins will not be listed on the My Wins page when “All Folders” is selected from the folder drop down list.  Also, when you search your wins, archived wins will not be displayed unless you specifically search your archived wins folder.  You may find archiving your wins useful when your wins folders start to become cluttered with old wins.  Move wins you don’t want in your other wins folders to your “Archived” wins folder.

To Move Wins to your Archived Wins Folder . . .

  • Click the My Wins link on the Wins tab to go to the My Wins page
  • Select the wins you want to archive by marking their checkboxes
  • On the Action bar at the bottom of the screen select the “Archived” folder from the Select Folder drop down list
  • Click the Move To button to move the selected bids to the "Archived" folder.
